A couple weeks ago, I posted my favorite color palettes for summer and had some requests to see what else I can do with a room based on those colors! So, given that the summer heat is already here and people are flocking to the lake, I will start with my lake life palette!
In my Lake House palette, I chose some of my favorite neutrals and blues from Sherwin Williams. This palette represents serene life on Georgia’s lakes. I love the balance between neutrals and shades of blue to create a calm yet dynamic space.
Here is my Lake Life Design Board!
This design board embraces a soothing color palette with textures and finishes that complement each other for a relaxed modern vibe. When designing a room on a lake, it is important to create a seamless transition from outdoor to indoor.
The dining table is weathered solid wood with a gray wash finish, an elegant take on driftwood to class up the casual and provide plenty of seating for family and friends.
The rug from Joanna Gaines Magnolia Home Collection is built for natural durability and color fastness for exceptional longevity for all the summers ahead.
My love for sailboats and being on the water is reflected in the nautical touches.
